Google Reinvents the Keyboard: Introducing Project 8pen

This is probably one of the craziest ideas I’ve seen in the market. Apparently Google has started up this project with the basis of, “what would the keyboard look like if made for mobile devices?” It is this type of logic that has led them to wonderful inventions such as Google Chrome. I’m going to purchase this keyboard and give it a whirl. I’m sure it’s going to be frustrating to say the least, but if this thing catches on it might be bigger than Swype.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Price Rumor: $400 with a 2YC, $650 without. I totally believe this is way too much money for this device. The fact is most people that will buy this is going to already have an Android phone that does everything that this can do, and they have already paid good money for that device, so what will constitute a second heavy spending? For me, $350 would have been a reasonable price since they are locking you into a 2YC. I really hope this price goes down, but these images seem pretty official so we’ll have to see.
